Manufacturer's Description Details: The Command series has always been highly regarded as a forgiving club featuring cutting edge weighting throughout the clubhead. The latest Command iron set is no different, featuring a weight distribution technology and wider sole. The wider then usual sole design combined with an under-cut cavity and rear weighting produce superior playability for all types of players.

Our Review: A very obvious feature of these irons is their wide sole with the four additional weights in the back of it. Since these weights sit very far in the rear of the clubhead they remarkably reduce the twisting of the clubhead on miss hits and increase stability and accuracy. The wide sole itself reduce the turf drag, especially when hitting in the rough. The low center of gravity (due to the wide sole and the weights) even allows for some half decent results when one just tops or sculls the ball.
This is a great game improvement club for players of all abilities. The matte finish may not be for everyone, but the forgiveness and playability of these clubs is unquestioned.
According to Pinemeadow this is one of their best selling iron sets, and at $149 for 3 to PW they deliver excellent playability and value.
Likes: Solid hit out of the rough and other 'tough' lies.
Dislikes: Nothing, except maybe the matte finish.
